This is a great game and I am really good at this, but I have noticed a very annoying bug in the game: whenever you complete a level, whether in the main game, a bonus puzzle, or a user created level, the game "freezes". It doesnt crash, but it doesnt respond to anything either, so I have to close the app and re-open it to continue; so Im only giving this 3 stars instead of 5

Superb game--if only it was working properly. The game play itself is fine--until you solve a puzzle. Then, the screen with the buttons to go to the next puzzle comes up--but all the buttons are non-functional. If you completely close the app, then re-open it, it does allow you to advance to the next puzzle, so it still does maintain essential functionality--but man, what a hassle. Note that I only run into this on my iPad Air 2--on my iPhone 5, the app works just fine. If this gets fixed, the review jumps to an easy 5 star--its superb!!

Hands down. Still as beautiful today as it was when it was first released.

7/16 My whole family adored this game years ago, so I reloaded it to start again, but there is a MAJOR CLITCH. When I successfully complete a level it freezes up. To get to the next level, I have to close out the game, reopen it, hit back, and then next level. I hope you can fix this. This is a fun, challenging sequence of events game!

Trainyard never disappoints. It fulfills my inner math nerd and lets me live the rest of my comm-creative career in peace. It also is the best airplane game ever. Thanks for the gift of this development! Ill high-5 you when we make it to heaven.

On iPad Air at kamloops station the app locks up after every solution is completed.

After all these years, still the best puzzle game in the store. Challenging and very clever. Solutions, especially to the more difficult ones, are viscerally satisfying. The ability to "clone" partial solutions is very useful and makes for less frustration as you try out possible combinations. Kudos too for designing the game so that there are always several puzzles available to be worked on as you move up the ladder of difficulty - no bottlenecks that are such a problem with other puzzle games.

Even without an update in Five years, Trainyard stays in the top five of BEST GAMES EVER. Unbelievable. Quite the genius developer. I just wish he would update this app. But even without updating, it is superb. Great game to pick up and put down easily.

I used to love this game, when it was on my iPad. I decided to buy it on my phone. I got really far, until one time when I passed a level it froze. I mean it kept making those animations, but I couldnt click anything. That happened about 2 or 3 months ago, Ive restarted my phone, restarted the app, and it still wont work. I would consider buying this, but keep in mind that it might freeze. Otherwise this is really fun!!

Yes, it works! If your iPhone locks up when you complete a puzzle, you can fix it by going to the main menu and submitting a review. Trainyard is such a delightful game--fun just waiting for you whenever you can spare even just a few minutes.

This is a very entertaining game but there is a bug. Whenever I complete a level I have to quit and reopen the app to get to the main menu and do the next puzzle because of a large, empty, white box that appears in the top left corner. There is nothing on it to click or close it and I cant hit any buttons while its up.

Good game. Crashes though every time I complete a puzzle. I have to shut it down in the background and start fresh each time.

I love this game, but the app gets 4 stars instead of 5 because of the bug that prevents you from actually playing once you complete a puzzle. I read that writing a review actually fixes that bug, so here it is.

This was a fantastic game...unfortunate it hasnt been updated since 2011 and with each iOS update, Trainyard gets less and less playable. Now in 2016 with iOS 9, its basically unplayable. Im surprised the author is still able to sell this. Come on man...spend the couple days to make it compatible with the latest phones/iOS.
