Trainyard is a puzzle solving game unlike any that youve ever played. Its easy to learn but very tough to master. Your job is simple: get each train to a goal station. Red trains go to red stations, blue trains go to blue stations, etc. You control the trains by drawing track for them to follow. There isnt a time limit or even a score; the only thing you need to do is figure out a solution for each puzzle.

The first few puzzles are almost too easy, but as the difficulty increases youll be thankful that you were able to practice the fundamentals of drawing track. As the game progresses, youll have to use colour theory to combine trains of different colours, use timing to merge and split trains, and use every inch of your brain in your quest to beat the game.

Pros and cons of Trainyard app for iPhone and iPad

Trainyard app good for

More than a game. Maybe a clever puzzle at the same place of a chess, cause of neurons interactions, of choices for the solutions...and for its addiction. Sure it brings reflexions and a good source for training the brain. Also a good choice in management of companies !
This game burned my brained and this why its so good ! Just one thing ... Why so much options to each screen ! I just want to play more and more :)
I wish more game apps were this good, this well put together and executed, and this much fun!
Really good game, 4 stars because the game crash when you finish a level. If the developer can fix that :)
Very chalenging! Endless fun, considering the tons of user made puzzles...
Excellent logic puzzle. Best yet. Gets quite hard and makes you think.

Some bad moments

Dont get me wrong, its a great game! But unfortunately there is no support for the bigger screens of the iPhone 6 :( Besides that I still like it!
Having a problem on IPhone 6 when I complete a tutorial correctly it will not allow me to press next challenge button or any button at that, I am stuck on the screen and have to close the app and re-open then skip to the next challenge. Please address this issue. The challenges that I have played are quite enjoyable but having to close the app after every level is rather annoying.
Im so sorry I paid for this program... Always freezes. Same thing with the "Express" version
You have had lots of good reviews and I have not seen a negative one. I tried the free game first and it kept freezing on me after I had gone quite a way on it, so I wrote a negative review about it. I really like the game though so thought I would try the 99c one. It worked well at first, but froze again after several games. So I removed it and downloaded it again later and tried again. I got a little further along this time and I was really enjoying it, now it has frozen again. I dont know how else to communicate with you, so am trying this, and hope you will try to fix this problem. I am using and iPad 2 with IOS 9.6 Thanks.
Once you solve a puzzle the buttons to move to next puzzle doesnt work. You need to restart the app in order for it to work. I even purchased the app because it was such a good game. Too bad it didnt work.
After the Iqaluit Inverse track the game will not allow you to continue or hit next. The game must be closed and re opened to choose the next track. I have tried this on 3 devices. iPhone 4S, iPhone 5SE and iPad Air. The free version seems to work better than the paid.
